About Us

The Saginaw Branch of AAUW was established in 1921 and has continued to be a force for equity for women and girls in the area.


Branch Accomplishments:

  • Seed money loaned to PIT and BALCONY Theatre for its beginnings,
  • THE BAILIWICK, a touch-and-do series of exhibits at The Saginaw Art Museum
  • FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISERS for Scholarships
  • WOMEN’S BOOK PROJECT
  • THE BOOK NOOK, a used bookstore in the Downtown Saginaw Mall
  • USED BOOK SALES for National and Local Scholarships, and Community Projects
  • 95th ANNIVERSARY BOOK DONATIONS to “Heart Of Saginaw”
  • Saginaw Farmers Market USED BOOK SALES on Fridays, May to October
  • Used book sales at Pay-Per-Klip
