The Saginaw Branch of AAUW was established in 1921 and has continued to be a force for equity for women and girls in the area.
Branch Accomplishments:
- Seed money loaned to PIT and BALCONY Theatre for its beginnings,
- THE BAILIWICK, a touch-and-do series of exhibits at The Saginaw Art Museum
- FASHION SHOW FUNDRAISERS for Scholarships
- WOMEN’S BOOK PROJECT
- THE BOOK NOOK, a used bookstore in the Downtown Saginaw Mall
- USED BOOK SALES for National and Local Scholarships, and Community Projects
- 95th ANNIVERSARY BOOK DONATIONS to “Heart Of Saginaw”
- Saginaw Farmers Market USED BOOK SALES on Fridays, May to October
- Used book sales at Pay-Per-Klip
